Scripture is Psalm 23 The Passion Translation (TPT)

The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss. That’s where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to God’s pleasure and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honour to his name.

Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness, fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear.  I’ll never be lonely, for you are near.

You become my delicious feast even when my enemies dare to fight. You anoint me with the fragrance of your Holy Spirit; you give me all I can drink of you until my heart overflows.

So why would I fear the future? For your goodness and love pursue me all the days of my life. Then afterwards, when my life is through, I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!”

The clear blue pool also represents a promise of healing (John 5:2, John 5:7, John 9:7-11), restoration refreshment and joy by the Holy Spirit (Is 35:7). The waterfall shows the abundant flow of the provision from the Lord. It can also represent people of differing levels and with different styles of ministry and spiritual activity

The pink in the sky represents Jesus Christ as first love. (Rev 2:4) and the blue part of the sky represents the blue heavens, therefore relating to spiritual (heavenly) revelations and presence of the Holy Spirit.

I have used a lot of Gold in this painting and because this is such a personal painting I feel the gold represents glory and victory like the gold of a victors crown (Rev 4:4, Rev 3:8). I feel it also represents a period of purification (which is always ongoing), and one can expect to walk in victory in the Spirit. Gold also represents God as our provider and points to spiritual riches that have been built up in heaven (Matt 6:19, 1 Pet 1:7)

The orange represents a very fruitful place or position. An actual orange has 12 sections which can point to permanency, unity and completeness sanctioned by Divine election (the tree of life bore twelve fruits). It represents perfection. Perfect government, a nation (12 tribes, 12 apostles) (Ex 24:4).

This painting represents how we change from glory to glory in an intimate relationship with the Trinity.
